PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A retired Oregon prison official has agreed to pay $1,000 to the state and admit to two ethics violations following the conclusion of an ethics investigation. The Statesman Journal reports Mitch Morrow, former deputy director of the Oregon prison system, negotiated the agreement over the past year with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission.
