| State prisoner absconds after funeral furlough |

A state prisoner who failed to return to the minimum security unit in Rapid City after being released to attend a funeral is being sought by authorities. Dace Lunderman, 30, of Rapid City, was released to attend a funeral in Mission and was scheduled to return Saturday. Lunderman has now been listed as an escapee, according to the Department of Corrections. He is a 6-foot-4-inch tall Native American with black hair and brown eyes and weighs about 260 pounds, according to the department. Read More. |
