Ian Arias had a history of suicide attempts as a teen. So when he was arrested as an adult in 2012, it was no surprise he was eventually taken to the Delaware Psychiatric Center. But a series of events while awaiting trial led Arias back to a prison cell in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center where he hanged himself with a bed sheet on March 5, 2013. The 36-year-old Wyoming man was one of 32 inmates in Delaware to die from suicide since 2000, according to the Department of Corrections.
