Lee County, SC (WLTX)- The death of an inmate at Lee Correctional Institute is under investigation. The Deputy Coroner, Larry Logan tells News 19 an autopsy is scheduled to be performed in Newberry Tuesday. The inmate has been identified as 27 year-old Victor Rogers. According to the department of corrections website, Rogers has been an inmate since February 2013. Rogers was serving prison time for a burglary conviction. Read More. |
