| Clay to study redesign of juvenile detention center |

MOORHEAD – The Clay County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved a contract with an architecture firm to begin work on redesign plans for the West Central Regional Juvenile Center building. WCRJC Director Stephen Larson and County Administrator Brian Berg requested the board approve a contract with Moorhead-based Michael J. Burns Architects, the center’s original architects, to start redesigning the center in Moorhead to accommodate a growing population. The county board had issues with the contract because it included an hourly rate, but not an estimate of how many hours it would take to draw up a complete redesign. Read More. |
