| Parolee Checks Net Over 40 Arrests In Crawford County |

More than 40 arrests were made last week in Crawford County during a parole “compliance check” operation in association with local and state law enforcement and the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. During the operation, there were 43 arrests, 13 drug charges, 20 warrants served, seven felon in possession of firearms charges, three absconders and 21 guns recovered. Law enforcement officers are obtaining additional warrants at the this time. The county wide parole compliance check was led by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, the Alma Police Department, Mulberry Police Department, Arkansas State Police and the Drug Task Force.
