| Report: Sex and drugs increasing problem at Dayton prison |

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A new report released today points to safety and security concerns at the Dayton Correctional Institution. A 177 page report released today by the Correctional Institution Inspection Committee says its primary concern with the women’s prison is an increase in sexual contact between inmates and staff. The CIIC provides oversight to Ohio’s prisons. The bi-annual inspection also says several inmates reported officers bringing drugs into the prison. It also notes the Dayton Correctional Institution had the highest increase in the rate of uses of force. It says there was no video documentation preserved to determine whether it was appropriate.
