| Authorities call off search for missing prisoner |

The manhunt for an escaped prisoner has ended after the inmate eluded police in New Orleans. Authorities identified the inmate as 24-year-old Lorenzo Conner, an accused murderer with a diagnosed history of mental illness. Reports say authorities were transporting Conner from the Feliciana Forensic Facility in Jackson to the Orleans Parish Courthouse when he escaped from a transport van Tuesday morning.
