A South Dakota state prison inmate was placed on escape status after leaving his community service work site without authorization earlier Wednesday. Inmate John Collins was last seen at the work site in Yankton at approximately 3 p.m. CDT. The state Department of Corrections is now reporting that Collins was found by the Yankton County Sheriffs Office early Thursday morning, and picked up. Read More. |
