| Cheaper Prison Phone Calls for Inmates |

The cost of a phone call for Ohio's prison inmates has been lowered to a nickle per minute. The state says that will help cut down on the number of inmates returning to prison. That's because, according to Gary Mohr, the head of Ohio's department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, those inmates will stay connected to their families while behind bars. The rationale is, more ways for inmates to contact their families, the less likely they'll repeat the crimes that put them behind bars. Read More. |
