Louisville police say a corrections officer shot two people after they tried to run him over Thursday afternoon. Police say a Louisville Metro Department of Corrections Home Incarceration Program (HIP) officer and a 5th Division FLEX officer, were looking for a suspect in along Brownsboro Road, near the Kroger store, around 3:45 p.m., when the suspect attempted to drive into him.
