Programs geared toward reducing or preventing tobacco and substance abuse among children offenders have a shot at $800,000 worth of grants. The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections said in a news release it wants to address tobacco and substance abuse among children between ages 10 and 18 who have committed status offenses or other low-level delinquent offenses.
