| Dothan convict back in state prison after county jail stay |

A former Dothan attorney who was convicted of stealing more than $10 million from former clients is back in state prison after spending a few days last week in the Lawrence County Jail. Mitch McNab was sentenced by Circuit Judge P.B. McLauchlin Jr. on Feb. 20 to a 20-year split sentence, with five years to serve in prison after McNab pleaded guilty in December 2014 to over 50 felony theft charges. After serving his five-year sentence he will be released and placed on probation for the remainder of his sentence. After spending eight days at Kilby Correctional facility in Montgomery, McNab was transferred to the Lawrence County Jail after deputies picked him up on March 26. Read More. |
