| Washoe County inmate dies at prison in Carson City |

An inmate serving time for Washoe County crimes has died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. Nevada Department of Corrections officials say 64-year-old Charles McCorkle died Friday at the prison's medical facility. He was serving consecutive sentences of four to 10 years for possession of a stolen vehicle and two to five years for battery causing substantial bodily harm. Read More. |
