BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – During this morning’s Board of County Commissioners Meeting, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Deputies and Correctional Employees were recognized with a resolution for their outstanding efforts to protect the citizens of Brevard County. The resolution, was read by Commissioner Curt Smith in preparation for National Correctional Officer Week that takes place May 3-9, 2015. National Corrections Officer Week recognizes Corrections Officers and Correctional employees throughout the country for their professionalism and commitment to proudly serving and protecting others. The job of a Corrections Deputy and Correctional Employee is one of the most stressful and dangerous jobs in the Public Safety industry as they truly deal with the worst of the worst. Read More. |
