| State works to close the prison system's revolving door |

LINCOLN, Neb. —The state of Nebraska is struggling to keep good help in the prison system. Officers and case workers leaving in alarming numbers is a problem brewing behind the walls of the state's prisons. "I'm here to let everybody know there is a problem, and we need to look at it and we need to look at it fast, because we are losing a lot of very good staff," a Tecumseh Corrections Officer said. The Tecumseh Corrections Officer said he loves job, but because of staff shortages, they are forced to work mandatory overtime.
