| PC Job Fair to feature dozens of local firms |

California - Porterville College, in conjunction with America’s Job Center of California, will hold its 3rd Annual Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 7 in the PC gymnasium at 100 E. College Ave. Priority service will be offered from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for military veterans and their families. More than 60 vendors have signed up for the fair to date, representing a variety of industries throughout the Valley. The vendor list includes AMVETS, AARP, AmeriCorps, Bakersfield Vet Center, Bank of Sierra, California Dairies, California Teaching Fellows Foundation, Carl’s Jr. Restaurants, CDCR (Corrections), Central California Blood Center, City of Porterville, City of Porterville Fire Dept., Drought Resources Program (CSET), Delaware North, Employment Connection, and the Employment Development Department.
