| Law enforcement makes effort to stop gangs in east Idaho |

POCATELLO — According to the FBI’s Gang Intelligence Center, gang membership continues to grow nationwide. As street gangs evolve and adapt, their activity goes beyond local drug dealing and vandalism to becoming more organized and involved in large-scale criminal activity. In eastern Idaho, law enforcement and the courts are taking a preemptive approach to addressing violent, gang-related crime. In Bonneville County, Kevin McQuilliams pleaded guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a firearm, all felonies. Read More. |
