Santa Barbara- In recognition of "National Correctional Officers and Employees Week," the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the dedicated and hard-working professionals who make up our custody staff. We recognize that these individuals have a challenging job, and we are grateful for the vital public safety service they provide to our community. Sheriff Bill Brown expressed his appreciation to the entire Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office custody staff and said, "Correctional professionals are an integral part of our law enforcement family, being tasked with the custody, care and supervision of thousands of offenders. They are faced with demanding and stressful conditions on a daily basis, and execute their duties with skill and dedication.
