Former Mass. CO sentenced for conspiring to bring drugs into correctional facility |

A Billerica, Mass., man was sentenced today in federal court for conspiring to bring heroin into the Billerica House of Correction. United States Attorney Michael J. Sullivan; Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in New England; Phillip Mahoney, Chief of the Woburn Police Department; Richard Stanley, Chief of the North Andover Police Department; and James V. DiPaola, Middlesex County Sheriff, announced today that MARK W. O'BRIEN, age 45, of 11 Treble Cove Road, N. Billerica, MA, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William G. Young to 8 months' imprisonment, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release. O'BRIEN pleaded guilty on June 5, 2003, to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin. |
