A Kenosha man incarcerated in the Kenosha County Jail died from an apparent hanging Saturday. According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, correctional staff found the 66-year-old hanging by his neck in his cell around 3 a.m. in the jail, 1000 55th St. According to a news release, officers and on-site nursing staff attempted to resuscitate the man but were unsuccessful. He was being held on a misdemeanor probation hold for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, according to the release. Sheriff’s officials could not be reached for further comment. Read More. |
