| Jail Exercise Tests Emergency Plans |

KSTP TV - Several Ramsey County agencies conducted a jail evaluation exercise in St. Paul Saturday morning. The goal was to figure out how inmates and several employees could get out safely in the event of an explosion. Volunteers posing as inmates walked out of the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center and took a seat on a bus to be transported the Ramsey County Correctional Center in Maplewood. Joe Paget, an undersheriff for the center said that this drill is a plan to get inmates to safety as quickly as possible if there was an explosion inside the jail. Read More. |
