| Escapee From Oklahoma Prison Captured Hours Later |

An inmate who briefly escaped from a minimum-security prison in LeFlore County on Monday was captured later that evening. Brannon E. Vonholt, 23, escaped from the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center in the unincorporated community of Hodgen on Monday evening and was captured hours later, at 8:22 p.m., and was placed back into custody, according to a news release from the LeFlore County Sheriff Rob Seale. Vonholt, who works in the facility as a unit cleaner, escaped while taking out garbage to a Dumpster shortly after head count around 6 p.m., according to B.J. Rowton, unit manager at the Jim E.
