| Search ongoing for inmate who escaped from Hickman County jail |

Police are looking for an inmate who escaped from the Hickman County Justice Center overnight. Correctional officers noticed 25-year-old Cody Ryan Bates was missing during an inmate check at 1:15 a.m. Friday. When they checked surveillance footage, they discovered Bates had forced open a gate to get away. K-9 officers from the Tennessee Department of Corrections are assisting in the search for Bates, who was last seen wearing dark clothing. Read More. |
