Somerset County Correctional Officer Robert Purnell III has been recognized as 2015 Correctional Officer of the Year. Purnell received a certificate of recognition for his achievement Tuesday during the June meeting of Somerset County Commissioners. Somerset County Detention Center Warden Louis Hickman announced the award, and Purnell was applauded by detention center and county officials. On a certificate presented by Commissioners, Purnell was cited for “outstanding dedication and achievement” during his service as an officer. Read More. |
