MUNISING -- The kitchen's closed on Wednesday at the Alger Correctional Facility in Munising. The prison's kitchen was shut down Wednesday morning after a maggot was found in the cutting room, the area where prison inmates prepare food with sharp utensils. An inmate alerted Aramark officials about the maggot. Aramark is the food service provider for Michigan's prisons.
