| DOC names inmate who died in Graceville prison |

The Florida Department of Corrections has identified the inmate who died Sunday at the Graceville Correctional Facility. John Hampton Anderson, 51, was found dead at the prison Sunday afternoon. He was serving a life term there for robbery with a deadly weapon and carjacking with felonious assault and a deadly weapon, according to the DOC. He had also drawn a 30-year term for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was believed to have been involved in an altercation with another inmate prior to his death, but officials would not discuss the particulars of that reported event. Read More. |
