DAKOTA CITY, NE (KTIV) - New details surrounding the controversy at the Dakota County, Nebraska jail. Terry Kern is out. After more than seven years as the jail director for Dakota County, Neb., Kern submitted his resignation. On Monday, The Dakota County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the decision.
