SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - The Department of Corrections says as of Tuesday all 42 inmates are still participating in an organized hunger strike at Utah State Prison. Prison officials will continue to offer the inmates meal trays as regularly scheduled. On Tuesday, four inmates accepted a breakfast meal tray. Two inmates with pre-existing health conditions were offered and accepted nutritional drinks. Read More. |
