| Prisoner walks away from work detail in Palm Beach County |

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Authorities are searching for an escaped prisoner in Palm Beach County. Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said Philip Peletz, 53, walked away from a work detail on Okeechobee Boulevard about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday. Peletz was an inmate at the Loxahatchee Road Prison. Witnesses said they saw Peletz get into an older-model white pickup truck. Read More. |
