| Families Enjoy Picnic at Two Rivers Correctional Institution |

UMATILLA, OR- Adults in custody and their families had a chance to enjoy each others company Sunday at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution. It was the Two Rivers Correctional Institution's "Families Aiding in Rehabilitation" Picnic. The adults in custody worked all year long to plan for this day and even had fundraisers to raise money. It was a chance for families to reconnect with their loved ones behind bars for a few hours in a somewhat normal setting. This year, there was an inmate band that performed called Sons of Country. "It's great to be here, playing for these people, and seeing their reaction. I think this is the best thing TRC has done. The picnic is good, but to add this music too," said Girley Crum Jr., participant in the band. It was the fourth year for the picnic and they said it continues to get bigger and better.
