| Search for Forsyth jail escapee called off |

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Several law enforcement agencies are looking for a inmate who escaped from work detail in Lamar County. Eric Coe was being held at the Al Burruss jail in Forsyth at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center on theft, burglary, and parole violation charges. Coe was last seen around 3 p.m. Wednesday. "They went to refuel at the city barn," says Lamar County Sheriff Brad White. "The inmate, Mr. Coe, then stole a car there that had a flat tire. He ditched that car behind Ingels Supermarket which is right behind the sheriff's office."
