LAGRANGE, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Department of Corrections is investigating after an inmate was assaulted at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in LaGrange. The alleged assault happened on Wednesday. Correctional officers found Charles Tackett, 67, lying on the floor of his cell around 9:20pm. They say he was given immediate medical attention and then transported to the University of Louisville Hospital. His conditions is unknown but reportedly stable.
