| Escaped inmate’s girlfriend charged for hindering prosecution |

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) – The girlfriend of an escaped inmate has been charged with hindering prosecution, according to court records. Wendy Renee Osborne, 30, was arrested on Friday by Fairview Police. According to an affidavit filed by Multnomah County Deputy DA Kelley Cloyd, police were investigating the escape of Danny Spillers from the Columbia River Correctional Institution. They learned that Osborne and Spillers were in a romantic relationship. Police spoke with Osborne who claimed she hadn’t talked with Spillers and didn’t know where he was at, according to records.
