SANTA FE (KRQE) – The Department of Transportation says their maintenance crews were affected after an inmate’s actions temporarily closed a landscaping program. Earlier this month, 59-year-old Raymond Ramirez was working with other inmates to landscape around state buildings in Santa Fe. He walked away but was captured later that day. The Department of Corrections suspended the landscaping work detail. During that time, the Department of Transportation says their work crews have been on overdrive. Read More. |
