Police find misplaced files for 7 death row inmates

Hundreds of boxes of missing Houston (Texas) Police Department evidence contained files from 28 capital murder cases.
Houston Police Chief Harold Hurtt says seven of those cases involved defendants who now await execution.
Hurtt told the Houston Chronicle editorial board last week that cataloging the misplaced evidence in thousands of cases is about 74 percent complete.
The previously lost evidence from 280 mislabeled boxes found in the H.P.D property room in August includes that of convicted killers from the 1980s.
The Harris County District Attorney's office says the attorneys for all seven death-row inmates have been notified about the misplaced evidence.

This article exposed what it is like to exist in today’s correctional institutions. I enjoy reading articles like this one and articles from author Hamilton Lindley who is an expert at persuasion, influence and leadership from his Waco, Texas base. There are a lot of important lessons to be learned here for sure. Thank you for the insight.
