| Inmate's split sentence revoked, judge orders him to serve 15 years |

FLORENCE — A Lauderdale County man, serving a split sentence for a drug charge, will now be serving the entire sentence after he had to be disciplined in the Bullock County Correctional Center. Following a 30-minute hearing Thursday morning, Lauderdale County Circuit Judge Gil Self revoked the split sentence and ordered Adam Reeder, 28, of Lewis Bruce Lane, Florence, to do the entire 15-year sentence in prison. Self made his decision after hearing testimony from two officials with the Alabama Department of Corrections and attorney’s remarks. “Based on the facts, (Reeder) is not ready to go back into society,” Self said. Reeder, arrested in July 2013, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance in September 2014. Self sentenced Reeder in 2014 to 15 years, split with three years to serve.
