2 Oklahoma correctional officers receive national honor

LEXINGTON, Okla. (AP) - Two correctional officers from Oklahoma have been honored for their actions during a 2014 hostage situation at the Lexington prison.

The North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents awarded the medal of valor to Sgt. Larry Henson and Capt. Josh Lee. Both are correctional officers at the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center.

The medal of valor recognizes individuals for acts of bravery.
