| Police: Woodbury woman tried to smuggle contraband into Fishkill prison |

Four women, including a Town of Woodbury resident, were charged Saturday with attempting to smuggle contraband into the Fishkill Correctional Facility, according to state officials. Tasha Torres, 30, of Woodbury, was charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband, a misdemeanor. Also arrested on the same charge were Amanda Ferrer, 21, and Jasmine Gaskin, 20, both of Brooklyn; and Serema Roberts, 32, of Utica. Read More. |
