The entire video is about 20 minutes in length and details the full route the inmates took during their escape - from leaving their cells to exiting the manhole. The inmates climbed down ladders, navigated their way through dimly-lit piping systems, squeezed through tight openings, and shimmied their way through the now infamous steam pipe. WPTZ reached out to several officials including the Clinton County District Attorney, New York State Police, and the Department of Corrections to see what changes could be made at Clinton Correctional Facility as a result of this video.
