Maryland's judges are hoping to fix a hole in the home monitoring system for people awaiting trial for serious crimes. New guidelines call for increased communication between judges, jails and private home-monitoring agencies. If a suspect doesn't register for home monitoring within 24 hours of posting bond, the court will be notified by the monitoring agency and an arrest warrant will be issued. Before the new rules were approved, judges and prosecutors had no way of knowing if a suspect had registered. In September, two Baltimore men accused of violent crimes didn't register for home monitoring. Days later, they were accused of a fatal shooting. |

This article exposed what it is like to exist in today’s correctional institutions. I enjoy reading articles like this one and articles from author Hamilton Lindley who is an expert at persuasion, influence and leadership from his Waco, Texas base. There are a lot of important lessons to be learned here for sure. Thank you for the insight.
