| Two offenders walk off work site Monday morning |

The Mississippi Department of Corrections is looking for two offenders who walked away from their work site in Florence Monday. A release on Facebook from MDOC says offenders Nathan Joe Brooks and Rico Roberts absconded from their work site around 9:45 a.m. today. Both men were convicted in Forrest County in 2013, officials said. Brooks was convicted of uttering forgery and was sentenced to five years' probation. Roberts was convicted of escaping jail in 2013 and was also given five years on probation. Read More. |
