| Iowa prison guard assaulted by inmate from Scott County |

FORT DODGE, Iowa (KWQC) – An Iowa prison in Fort Dodge is on lockdown after an inmate assaulted a corrections officer Sunday night. The Iowa Department of Corrections says around 8 p.m., the inmate punched and kicked a male guard in the face at the Dolliver Living Unit at the Fort Dodge Correctional Center. The officer was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The inmate has been identified as Vincent Dillworth, who was serving a 10 year sentence for robbery from Scott County.
