| Two Prison Employees OK After Being Held Hostage |

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina prison officials say two of their employees are doing well after they were held hostage for several hours Saturday. South Carolina Department of Corrections Spokesperson Stephanie Givens said multiple state agencies were called to the Kirkland Correctional Institution around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Corrections officials say it involved the two employees and two inmates. No additional details of what led up to the incident--or what happened during it--have been released.
