| PCSD promotes corrections assistant director to department chief |

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Pima County corrections officer who would dedicate two decades of service within the department has been promoted to its highest rank. Assistant Corrections Director India Davis has been promoted to corrections chief. The Pima County Sheriff's Department hosted a promotion ceremony for Davis at the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Davis, a Louisiana native, moved to Tucson in 1986 and joined Pima County Corrections in 1996 as an officer. Read More. |
