A Quad-City man imprisoned in the Iowa Department of Corrections is facing charges that could extend his prison time after he attacked a corrections officer Sunday, Iowa DOC spokesman Fred Scaletta said. Vincent J. Dillworth, 22, also known as Vincent Dilworth, is serving a 10-year sentence at Fort Dodge prison after pleading guilty in 2012 to a charge of second-degree robbery. He was sentenced in that case on March 1, 2012, and must serve 85 percent of the sentence, according to Iowa DOC electronic records. Dillworth also is serving a concurrent sentence of 28 years for the 2011 fatal shooting of Justin Baltimore, 19, of Rock Island. That sentence was handed down by Rock Island County Circuit Court Judge J. Michael Meersman on Nov. 27, 2012, according to Circuit Court records. Read More. |
