State prison officials say a 69-year-old inmate serving 20 years to life for murder in Reno has died at a hospital in Carson City. The Nevada Department of Corrections said Tuesday the Carson City coroner is investigating the death on Monday of Michael Grendell at Carson Tahoe Medical Center.
