The Hall County Board of Supervisors voted to delay a decision on hiring a permanent corrections director Tuesday. Supervisor Pam Lancaster said hiring a firm to find candidates could cost between $25,000 and $45,000. She said the county also had access to the two applicants who weren’t chosen for the head of the Nebraska Department of Corrections. Lancaster suggested tabling the decision for four weeks to allow Interim Director Todd Bahensky time to construct a vision and get the proper credentials if he wanted to apply for the job.
