Louisville, Kentucky, Inmates Use Bed Sheets to Escape Corrections Center

Late Monday night, Louisville Metro Corrections said two of their inmates had escaped from a facility in downtown Louisville. Cornelius was captured early Tuesday, but Johnson was still on the run, WHAS reports.

Just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Louisville Metro Department of Corrections confirmed that Christopher Cornelius had been taken back into custody.

Billie Jo and Misti Johnson are mother and sister to Johnson. He was being evaluated for minor injuries. I don't think he was thinking.

Officers are searching the area, and Corrections officials asked any residents who spots the missing inmate to call the police immediately. "We've been going through it for a long time and trying to get him help and there's not a whole lot of help out there". Bolton said Johnson was being treated at a local hospital for fractures to an ankle and vertebrae.
