| Prison officers find pot stash on inmate |

Jail officials in Socorro County (N.M.) are investigating how an inmate obtained a large amount of marijuana. Officers at the county detention center said they found marijuana the size of a brick on inmate Joseph Padilla earlier this month. Investigators said there was no way Padilla got the marijuana from a recent family visit. They are trying to determine how the pot made it through security and into the detention center. |
